Rossini’s native house
The museum devoted to Rossini is hosted in the native house of the composer. It is made up of a rich heritage of prints and some relics linked to the life and works of Rossini, and they are presented with an interesting biographical and creative tour. The house is a clear example of minor urban building and war realized in different periods among the fifteenth and eighteenth century.
Villa Imperiale
It’s a beautiful example of Renaissance architecture, and now it’s easily reachable thanks to guided tours organized on Wednsdays from May until September. The reservation is needed.

Villa Caprile
It’s a country house of the eighteenth century on the hills of Pesaro. It’s sorrounded by a park and a tipical Italian garden; it’s famous for its water games, ancient amusement which is still working.

Palazzo Montani Antaldi
The Montanis ordered this building between the half of ‘500 and the end of ‘700, to this age infact the present order goes back; in 1808 the building goes to the marqueses Antaldi. Inside the frescos of the noble floor belong to the school of Giannandrea Lazzaroni. From 1995 it host the main office of the Foundation of Cassa di Risparmio di Pesaro.

Palazzo Mazzolari Mosca
It was built from 1763 for Antonio Maria Mazzolari with project of Giannandrea Lazzarini. In 1842 it was bought by Vittoria Toschi Mosca to host her collections addressed to an industrial artistic museum. The building shows architectural neoclassical parts such as the inner yard on which faces a loggia.

Palazzo Gradari
Supplied with a plant at the court, it belonged to the Paridis (until the half of ‘600), to the Gavardinis (until the half of ‘800), at last to the Reggiani and to the Gradari (until 1940). The front of the eighteenth century is enriched by a big gate. Inside, at the first floor, there is a room with a fresco by Giannandrea Lazzarini.

Palazzo Ducale
The native nucleus goes back to the Malatestas dei Sonetti (1368-1429). Alessandro Sforza ordered the front with arcade and the hall Metaurense. The present dimensions were made by Francesco Maria I and Guidubaldo II Della, whom even Girolamo and Bartolomeo Genga work for.

Villino Ruggeri
It was realized between 1902 and 1907 for the chemist Oreste Ruggeri. It’s a clear example of liberty architecture in Italy. The building has got a cube traditional structure. It’s very rich in decorations on relief idraulic cement, there are maritime and floreal subjects and polychromatic majolica.

Scalone Vanvitelliano
The great stairway, which was part of the conventual complex of the Benedettine, was built by the architect Giuseppe Tranquilli from Pesaro with Project of Vanvitelli. Inside there is a rich decorative architecture which exalts the scenographic value of the space.

Sinagoga
Located in the ancient ghetto of the town , probably it goes back to the beginning of the seventeenth century. The ground floor hosts the well and the hoven for the unleavened bread. Some manufactures of the inside are now in other synagogues. On the San Bartolo mountain there is the jewish cemetery where there are some works in progress.

Piazza del Popolo
Its present structure goes back to the sixteenth century when Guidubaldo II Della Rovere charged Filippo Terzi to change its wideness in armony with the surrounding buildings. The square hosts a big funtaine with an octagonal basis, which was built in 1593 and transformed between 1684-85.
Rocca Costanza
It was ordered by Costanzo Sforza (1474-83) and finished by his son Giovanni. It represents the first exemple of “fortification of land” in the region of Marche. Luciano Laurana worked on it. With the Della Roveres it was enclosed in the pentagonal perimeter of the walls. It has been used as jail from 1864 until 1989.

Orti Giuli
It’s a clear example of a garden of the nineteenth century. The kitchen gardens are on the rampart of the Carmine in the tract of the walls towards Porta Rimini, and they’re dedicated to Giulio Perticare from Pesaro. Some avenues planted with trees join the main axis, the avenues had typical neoclassical elements.

Centro per le Arti Visive Pescheria
It was built between 1821 and 1823 and keeps the native ceiling with wood pediments and a shell formed stone funtain. The front on Corso XI settembre is closed to the church of Suffragio of the seventeenth century. Since 1996 it hosts events of contemporary art and design.

Sfera Grande
It’s a strong symbol of meeting point for the people of Pesaro. “La palla” was made by Arnaldo Pomodoro and has got a long story. In 1971 it reached the model in polyester reached the town (now it’s in Rome); in 1998 the model was substituted by the pictoresque bronze fusion.
